Still kicking

I'm not sure why I thought I was busy when my kiddles were babies. I mean, I know I was busy, but man--this past 12 months has been insane. I rarely think to blog, but here is a quick update.

Me: I'm still helping organize the homeschool co-op we're in. This coming year will be my last one doing this. It's been long, stressful, and honestly, while we love co-op, I'll be glad to be done with this job. I'm still selling Pampered Chef, and having a great time with that. I gained 20 lbs of the 30 that I had lost, so I'm attempting to get that under control.

Steve: Still working 7 days/week That's about it. LOL There isn't time for much else.

Eli: He's almost 18!! When did THAT happen? He's been working at Burger King for over a year now. Senior year of high school starts soon. He's been taking tennis lessons for a few months and loves it.

Maddie: Our sweet 16 girl has her driver's permit. She's babysitting a lot. She just had her wisdom teeth out, and has had a bit of a rough go with it. She'll be in her junior year come fall.

Patience: My baby starts high school this year! She's doing a little bit of babysitting, and working her way through Pre-Algebra this summer. She's my homebody--I'm color-coding the calendar for the rest of us, but she's had a quiet summer. :)

August is looking just as busy as the rest of the year has been. The county fair is coming up, VBS at church, lots of shuttling kids back and forth, beach days, and oh, yeah, I should plan for the coming school year. :)
