Ridiculously pleased with myself

I just turned two pairs of ripped jeans (Maddie's) into shorts.  With a sewing machine.  All by myself.  I still can't sew a straight seam to save my life, but she'll get to wear them at least once (maybe even twice if the seam doesn't come undone in the washing machine!).
