Strep Throat. AGAIN. I'm on antibiotics, and feeling a teeny bit better, but my throat still feels like there's a piece of popcorn stuck in the back of it. And that ONE spot is driving me crazy.

In happier news, my gorgeous Maddie-girl is 12 years old today! How did that happen? It was just yesterday that she was born!
She and I are going to get our ears pierced this afternoon. Then dinner with Mem & Pep (sloppy joes and chips--she picked), then cake & ice cream (I am officially the worst mother in the world--I slept late and refused to make a fancy birthday cake. She wanted one shaped like an iPod, and she's getting a regular 2-layer cake.). Pictures to come later.

Hope you are better soon. I've had many problems with my throat over the years. As a child I took vitamin A capsules to try and help, but the biggest improvement came when I started to drink a lot more water.
ReplyDeleteNot suprised you slept in! I just read on another blog how to make an ice-cream cake which I might just try next birthday (not 'til May). You can't get them here in the UK, so it would be a treat!
