So, gee, what a boring weekend, eh? Watched the future king of England get married on Friday, read heartbreaking news reports of the devastation in Mississippi, Alabama & Georgia caused by tornados, did two shows, went to church, found out right before bed last night that Osama bin Laden had been killed.
Bo--ring...
NOT.
Sheesh--what a wild ride. From the horror of the storms in the south, to the high (and sighs) of William & Kate tying the knot, hearing stories of bravery & rescue in Alabama, and then last night---what do you feel when you hear that such a horrible terrorist is dead? Joy? Relief? Pride in our armed forces? Sadness that another soul died not knowing Jesus (not that I *know* OBL's heart--just guessing here)? All of the above?
What a start to a week.
The Royal Wedding *groan*! We were watching for storm news and the pre-wedding coverage was inescapable!! How dare you mention it!
