Well, I'm not sure where the last 18 years went. Much faster than I expected, that's for sure. Our baby boy, our #1 son, is an adult. A bonafide, licensed, gainfully employed, voter registered, Selective Service registered ADULT.
We celebrated today by going out to brunch with all of the grandparents at T's Restaurant in East Greenwich (GREAT food).

Eli & Maddie posed for me. I still think they could pass for twins.
We opened gifts while waiting for our food. The girls bought Eli this Hobbit poster.
Here's Patience with Steve's dad.
Eli was THRILLED with the tennis books that we got him.
Cracking up at a card from Nana.
Eli with Nana--Steve's mom.
Immediately starting to read his "Greatest Tennis Matches in History" book.

Steve chatting with his dad & stepmom.
Hey there, Maddie. :)
We made sure to get photos of Eli with the grandparents, but didn't get one of Eli with his PARENTS. Gah.
When we finally got home, we had some cake & ice cream, and watched a bunch of episodes of the second season of Arrow. Very low key. But Eli said he had a great day & that's all that matters.
We're so grateful for our boy. He's an awesome kid, and we're so proud of the man he's becoming!
