Thursday evening

Here I sit, Thursday at 6pm.  That's why I picked the title I did. :o)  I was just reading the blog of a former PC consultant, who really just blogs about the everyday stuff in her life, and it inspired me to get on here and post something! Anything! LOL

I won some Ebay auctions for Pampered Chef Season's Best recipe booklets (you know, the ones that come out every season and only cost $1?).  I'm trying to complete my collection.  I think I already have about 15? of them, so now I'm trying to get the older ones.  Not that buying cookbooks is conducive to losing weight....don't Pina Colada Rolls sound heavenly?

Steve is still at work.  He got his last job after 4pm, so he'll be out later than normal.  Dinner was a casual affair, as it always is when he isn't home.  The kids had hot dogs and Wheat Thins.  I had a Weight Watchers mac & cheese dinner (delicious!) and some grilled chicken.

I'm supposed to leave in 20 minutes to go do some training with my newest consultant.  We have to go over the PC computer software.  Fun, fun!

I finally met a neighbor!  After a year of living here!  She lives across the street.  Her name is Sue, and she owns a duplex.  Her daughter is almost 10--she came over to play today, since the kids were outside, enjoying the first sunshine we've seen in a week!  (Tomorrow should hit 60 degrees--could spring actually be here??)  Sue just rented the other side of her duplex, so as of 5/1, we'll have a 7 yo boy living across the street.  *crossing my fingers that he's a good kid*

New episode of Grey's Anatomy tonight!  So I have to be home by 9pm.  Don't throw stones at me--my best friend got me hooked!

I'm getting ready for 6 weeks of insanity--I have 22 shows booked between now and 6/3.  And a trip to TX smack in the middle of it.   Should be fun!  I'm trying to hit "Top Performance Cluster" with The Pampered Chef--meaning that between June '06 and May '07, I'll have sold $55,000 worth of PC.  I'm about $13,000 away from the goal right now, hence the mad show schedule.  The kids don't actually need me for the month of May, do they?

Speaking of the kids--which led my thoughts to homeschooling--we have a new superintendent in our town.  Well, as of 7/1.  There's an interim guy until then.  Hopefully he's homeschool friendly!  Come the end of July, I'll be submitting our end of year report and letter of intent for next school year.  I guess I'll find out then!

Eli's not feeling well.  I just took his temp, and it's 100.5.  He says his throat and nose hurt, and he feels cold.  I gave him some Tylenol, he's going to take a shower, and then into bed a bit early, I think.

I just talked to Steve, and he's not going to be home until 7pm, which is when I'm supposed to be AT my consultant's home.  Oh well.
