Fun at CVS

I've recently been reading a blog Money Saving Mom , and it is so much fun to see how much money you can save!

Today, I went to CVS and bought about $43 worth of stuff for $3!  Here's the rough break-down:

Energizer 8 packs (I got 2-AAA and 1-AA) $5.29 each

I had 3 $1 off 1 coupons, and a CVS coupon for $5 off 1, plus I got $5 Extra Care Bucks back (you use these like cash the next time you shop)

1 Ajax dish detergent .99

1 CVS facial tissue 120 ct. for .99, and I had a CVS coupon to get it for free (saved $1.15)

2-Robitussin DM cough syrups, on sale for $4.99 each, plus I had 2-$3 off 1 coupons printed from online, AND I got $5 Extra Care Bucks back.

A Gilette Fusion Phantom razor, on sale for $9.99, with a $4 manufacturer's coupon, plus $6 Extra Care Bucks back.

1 Johnson & Johnson's detangling shampoo for $4.29 with a $2 CVS coupon.

I was able to use 2-$2 off $10 CVS coupons, and used ECB that I already have worth $16.

I picked up 2 prescriptions that were $35 (you can't use ECB's on those), and my total for everything was $38.42!
