My father-in-law's birthday (or is that father's-in-law birthday?) was 6/2, so Steve and the kids went to visit (I had a previous engagement).
Eli's friend slept over on 6/3.
I had a PC show on 6/10. Our 17th anniversary was 6/11.
I had a 31 party on 6/14---30 friends squished into my house. It was a $2100 party and I got $667 worth of bags & purses, etc, for $94.50. I am SO excited, and cannot wait to get my items. You should check out the catalog--although I'll admit that it's much better to see the products in person. www.mythirtyone.com/cherifera Cheri is a doll to work with. The party was a lot of work, but well worth it!
6/17-6/18 was the RIGHT Used Curriculum Sale. I volunteered on Friday after bringing in the books that I was selling (I'm getting almost $90--not bad at all!), and Saturday was the actual sale. We also had a birthday party to go to that day.
Father's Day was 6/19--we celebrated with family at a cookout. It was so nice to see everyone.
The kids and I are getting excited about the co-op we're joining--it starts on 9/9, but plans are already in full swing. I attended a co-op meeting on 6/20 and got to see a lot of friends. It's going to be great!
June 21st was the big day here--Eli got his tonsils out. He's never had surgery before, but he's doing great. It was outpatient surgery. He is on Vicodin & Tylenol every 4 hours. The doctor had him on an antibiotic, but we think he was having an allergic reaction to it (itchiness), so now he's off the antibiotic and ON Benadryl. I'll be glad when he can go all night without the pain meds--this is like having a newborn, having to get up at night to administer drugs (not that we gave our newborn babies drugs--we just had to get up with them in the middle of the night!). He's eating and drinking just fine though--a total answer to prayer!
I worked this evening--nice Pampered Chef show with a lovely bunch of ladies. Saturday is my birthday--the big 3-7. :) I'm firmly in my late 30's now. Sunday I'm bringing dinner to a friend who just had a baby--sooo cute! Then a show next Thursday night. Oh, and Steve goes on third shift next week--just for a month, but it will be an adjustment.
Add into all that piano lessons, allergy shots, grocery shopping, etc....I'm exhausted. :) I'm really looking forward to Eli being completely recovered, and LOTS of beach days in July!!!!
