Avoiding school work

Not my kids. Me.  I have homework to correct from my co-op history class. I'm typing here instead of doing that.

I didn't end up going to see The Hobbit with my family last night.  Unbeknownst to me, Steve didn't really want to go, either, but I asked to stay home first. SCORE. (Actually, I stayed home because my stomach felt funny--being alone in the house was the bonus!)  So it was just me, NCIS and NCIS:LA, and a bowl of popcorn.  Heaven.

Today was another lazy day.  Should I even admit that I slept until almost 10am?  If I shouldn't, then I was up at 6am. *wink*

Anyway, the kids did school work.  I finished a mystery novel.  I watched Bonanza & The Big Valley. I told the girls to make dinner, and directed them in their efforts to make minestrone soup. Then we had dinner and I made an ice cream run, per my husband's request.

Tomorrow, Madeline, Eli, and I have haircut appointments AT 10 am.  I guess I'll have to go to bed at a decent time so that I'm up at a decent time.

***WOO HOO! I just checked my calendar and the appointment is at 11 am.  I guess I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn. :)

  1. The fact that you think you have to get up at the crack of dawn to be somewhere at 10 AM is hilarious. :)
