Eli is reading a chapter book!
On his own! And loving it!
What is this I'm feeling? Pride? Shock? Suspended Disbelief? Relief?? Joy??
He read almost the entire first book of the Magic Tree House series this afternoon (I helped with half of a page), and now he's on book 2! I'm so excited for him! This is such a break-through. Up until now, chapter books had too many words per page for him....it was so overwhelming for him that he never even tried to read one!
This is HUGE!!!!!!
