I would apparently need a Congressional order...

to find a PLAIN, BASIC Macaroni Salad recipe.  You know, macaroni + salad dressing = macaroni salad.  

  

Money is tight here.  Rent is due next week, and Steve just had a nose-dive of a week at work (ahh, commission, ya gotta love it!).  There is very little food in the house.  

  

I, for one, am sick of having plain old pasta.  So I thought I would make a macaroni salad.  NONE of my cookbooks have a recipe for plain macaroni salad (I have kids, remember?  None of this fancy-schmancy stuff!).  

  

So I go on-line.  8 gazillion hits.  SIGH.  Looks like I'll be modifying a recipe--cross your fingers for me that the kids will actually eat it!
