I actually feel like I've gotten some things accomplished lately. What with the anemia, and Steve's Lyme disease, this has been a lazy, lazy summer. (And by lazy, I don't mean, lying on the beach, I mean camped out in front of the tv, watching endless reruns of NCIS.)
So, what have I gotten done?
Eli is signed up for driver's ed! Whew--that's been hanging over my head. I'm so grateful that we found a class that he can finish before school starts, and that is located only minutes from our home.
Today I finished getting together the paperwork that I need to send in to the school department for next year's homeschooling. Including end-of-year papers for last year.
AND, I have 99.5% of this year's curriculum purchased.
I cleaned my desk today. (This needs to be done on a weekly basis.)
I scanned in three year's worth of credit card statements, so that we can shred some paper and clean out my filing cabinet.
I took the car to the mechanic and got a new battery put in.
I donated books to a book drop-off instead of letting them sit in my basement for another year.
I got Steve to finally (mostly) cut down the shrub in the back yard, and I pruned my lilac bush.
I cleaned out some of our old homeschooling materials (Do I really need to keep math tests that Eli took in 3rd grade? Probably not.)
****
Tomorrow I go see a gynecologist to have a sonohysterogram. Should be a fun day. I imagine I'll want to rest afterwards, so it's nice feeling like some things have gotten done!
