Sigh

From Wikipedia:

Malaise is a feeling of general discomfort or uneasiness, of being "out of sorts", often the first indication of an infection or other disease. Malaise is often defined in medical literature as a "general feeling of being unwell".

I certainly don't think I'm coming down with an infection or disease.  But I kind of don't feel like myself.

Blasé, enuii...neither of those seem to work. Maybe just BLAH would work.

No idea what the issue is.  Well, it might be some 'girl stuff', but I don't want to be to TMI on the blog (not that it's stopped me before).  Let's just say that things have been a bit wonky since I gave up Diet Coke (87 days ago, in case you're counting--Lord knows I am).

I just feel blah.  Don't want to work, don't want to make calls, don't want to do housework, don't want to plan next school year, don't want to blog, don't want to exercise.  What I'd love to do is sleep in every day, and then spend the entire day sitting on my deck reading or lying on the couch watching movies. And of course I can't do that.  I have phone calls to make for work (which has been slow, but is directly related to the fact that I don't want to make phone calls--gah), dinner must be cooked every night, I really need to send in this year's homeschooling paperwork.....eh, I think I'll go get my book.

Anyway, just figured I'd pop on to let you know why I've been so silent here. I just cannot work up any enthusiasm for anything right now (although eating vast quantities of not-good-for-me food would probably get me moving, but I AM trying to be good---oh, and I did have a lovely lunch date with a friend today...tons of fun).

No menu plan this week.  I have some leftover meals from last week that I'm using, and I'm kind of winging it from there.  Never a great plan, but since I'm drinking lots of smoothies, at least I'm not stressed about having stuff for me to eat (there's plenty for the rest of the gang).

C'mon, show me some love! I'm always so curious about who reads this blog--let me know! :)
