Day 3 saw us off to Animal Kingdom. We were really excited about this, because when we went to Disney in 2005, they were building the Mount Everest Expedition ride. This time, we would get to ride it!
Here are the obligatory "waiting for the bus" photos at the start of the day.

The first section was Dinoland--quite a few fun rides there!

One of the roving photographers (this was a nice feature at the parks) took this shot of all of us.
So excited for the roller coaster!
It was the COOLEST ride! We loved it! Went on it a few times--absolutely fabulous.
Then, despite the chilly weather (seriously, WHERE were the 80 degree days we had been expecting), we went on a River Rapids ride. Mistake. I was so cold afterwards!
It was time for lunch--there's a great pizza joint in AK.
Amusements parks are so fun, but I was always so happy for a chance to SIT DOWN. :)

We left AK to grab an early lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.
The decor was incredible.
