We've been back from our fabulous Disney vacation for almost 7 months, so it is about time I posted about it, eh? I'd say so!
We started our drive to Florida on Saturday, October 27th. We decided to take the scenic route, and avoid Route 95 unless absolutely necessary. :) Driving south by Route 81 is SUCH a gorgeous ride! We had beautiful weather, and little traffic. We had already planned on stopping for the night--I'm so glad we made reservations ahead of time. We were in Charlotte, North Carolina, by 7:30pm or so, watched a bit of tv, and then got a good night's sleep.
Sunday morning found us cruising our way towards Orlando.
Our Disney resort reservations weren't for until Monday, so we had booked a hotel right next door for Sunday evening. We were at the hotel by 3:30 or so--nice and early. Once we checked into the Best Western, we walked over to Downtown Disney.

Who's ready for a great vacation???:)
Just outside Downtown Disney
It was so much fun seeing everything decorated for fall & Halloween.
The Lego Store! They had so many cool life-size Lego creations!
Me & my girl
Trying to get a good picture on a windy evening (with a dragon behind us!).
After dinner.:)
World of Disney--coolest store ever.
We had to have dessert at Ghirardelli---SO yummy.
Oh my. A very sweet end to a great day!
