I got a phone call from the landlady. She spoke with her daughter, and her daughter said that there wasn't any reason that we should move in before August 1st! That is SUCH awesome news! More time to pack, and I think it solves our problem of what to do about the landlady and the security deposit--we'll just tell her to keep it as July's rent. *crossing my fingers that that will be okay with her*
We'll still be able to move boxes and stuff in ahead of time, which is great.
So I'm feeling much better, not only with the time frame, but with the certainty that this IS going to happen! Extra kitchen counter space, here I come!
