As usual, the last week has flown by--I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving was 6 days ago. It's been another busy week here.
Last Thursday, Steve was on call from 8am-12pm. Of course, he got a job at 11am, and had to meet us at my parents' house.
My mom did the bulk of the cooking. I brought rolls, broccoli, niblets corn, and dessert. Those recipes were more fun: cherry cheese pie, chocolate heath bar trifle, mint chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cream cheese pie with butterscotch/dark chocolate topping. Yum!
Steve arrived a while after we ate, so he had to heat his plate up. That's okay, it's a time-honored tradition in my mom's family!
My mom found my old Monchichi doll! Enjoy these pictures!

Monchichi!

He's wearing an outfit that my mom sewed for him. :)

That's Maddie, Monchichi and Mem! Love the alliteration! :)

Around 5pm, we headed to our friends' home. Fred & Faith are the kids' Awana teachers, and we just had a blast at their house!
The kids played "Life" and Wii, while we got to sit, chat & eat delicious desserts! We didn't end up leaving until 11pm!
It was a really fun Thanksgiving, and I'm so thankful for that!
