5 more days.... 

  

We looked at the apartment in West Warwick 22 days ago, and the land lady will we back from FL in 5 days.  I don't know what I'll do if she says we didn't get the apartment.   Just looking at rental ads depresses me.  The small print, the high rents....sigh. 

  

I worked the last two evenings.  Both great shows.  Last night's was in Belchertown, MA.  184 miles round trip.  4 hours of driving.   And it looks like I'll be going up there at least 4 more times--dang my excellent presentation skills, warm personality and clever wit!  They love me, what can I say?   

  

What a gray day today!  I feel like taking a nap!  The kids did dishes and some laundry (I exercised and inputted last night's show), we had lunch and ran to BJ's and the post office.  Tonight I have a RIGHT chapter meeting at Gregg's.  OH YUM!  

  

Patience's new phonics book came today.  She's very excited.  I also bought a book called "Mommy, Why Don't We Celebrate Halloween?".  Steve and I will have to read it and decide what to use.  Its not that we're totally anti-trick-or-treating, but I don't see the point in celebrating a holiday that clearly has nothing to do with Jesus.  I bought the book because Patience asked me that exact question the other day, although she added, "...you know, Satan's birthday?".  SIGH.  Obviously she has been led astray at some point.
