About 2 years ago, I started experiencing allergy/hay fever symptoms every morning. I would wake up sneezing, runny nose & eyes, tingly nose--the whole bit.
So I went to my primary care dr. She prescribed me Clarinex. I'll be honest, I didn't take it faithfully. It didn't seem to work that well, but I just kept taking it (intermitently--probably 3-4 times/week).
I also have trouble with getting bloody noses--so having a runny/stuffy nose is awful, because if I blow my nose too hard, it bleeds.
Anyway, I ran out of meds last week. Yesterday, the symptoms were annoying and I told my husband that I'm going to go have an actual allergy test--hopefully find out why I'm even having these symptoms.
Today is just awful. It started as soon as I woke up, and hasn't really let up since. I keep sneezing, my face hurts ("It's killing me!" go ahead, I know you wanted to say it!
), my eyes look puffy and keep watering.
So, I took a decongestant, and then it occured to me that I probably need an antihistimene instead, so then I took some Benedryl. I should look like this soon:
I better not be getting sick--I have Pampered Chef shows tomorrow & Wednesday night, and Wednesday night I have to drive 95 miles each way--no medication that night!
