Beavertail

A great cloud day

Occasionally, we're able to get together with friends at Beavertail--a state park in Jamestown, RI.  Beavertail is on the west side of the island, in Narragansett Bay (if you look at a map of RI, the bay kind of splits the state in half).  It's a beautiful spot.  We were there 2 days before Hurricane Irene hit, so the waves were bigger than usual.

Steve & his girls--it's dark because of the sun behind them, but it's actually a really cute picture!

Me & my man

Another picture, Mom? Sigh.... :)

So great seeing old friends!

Our friend, Tyler, surrounded by waves

Hello, handsome!
This is Tyler's sister, Avanell--she calls me "Auntie Mandy" and I only allow it because I love her. She just started her first year of college in NY.  She's a phenomenal photographer!

Beth--such a sweet friend

Maddie-paddie--love this girl

It wasn't really that dark out when we took the picture--just that dusky part of day when the flash makes it look like midnight.

It was a really nice night of fellowship.  Before we know it, it will be too cold to head out there--fall's almost here!

  1. These are all great pictures Amanda. We hardly got to the beach this year and I'm very sad about that.
